This article addresses the issue of the incompatibility between the activity of sports agent and that of lawyer in the light of the new regulation on the sports agent introduced by art. 1, par. 373, of the statute 205/2017. This question appeared, if not completely resolved, at least attenuated following the opinion expressed by the National Bar Council (17 July 2015) according to which, in the absence of a legislative regulation referring the activity of sports agent to a specific profession, the exercise of this activity by the lawyer should be authorized without the need of registration in the relevant register kept by the FIGC.
